Nortech extends competition as two holidays still to be won

With two prizes still at large – including one worth £2,000 – Nortech Foods has extended the deadline for its ‘A Plaice in The Sun’ holiday giveaway.

The competition was originally launched in the summer to support fish and chip shops across the UK by giving three businesses the chance to win a holiday after what has been a challenging few years.

Three separate tickets – bronze, silver, and gold – were hidden in boxes of Superior Frying Fat, Nortech’s popular refined and deodorised beef dripping product.

Whilst one lucky business has come forward to claim the silver ticket, winning a £1,000 holiday, two remain unclaimed – the £2,000 top prize golden ticket and the bronze ticket for a weekend break for two.

In the hope that two lucky fish and chip shop owners find the remaining prizes, Nortech has extended the deadline to redeem the winning tickets to 31st December 2022.

Commenting on the decision, Leanne Green, sales and commercial manager at Nortech Foods, said: “We’re determined to find more winners, so we’re urging all of our customers who have purchased boxes of Superior Frying Fat to thoroughly check the packaging for the remaining tickets. If by the end of the year they haven’t made an appearance, we will make sure they don’t go to waste by using them for something else. Watch this space!”

Superior customers are being encouraged to double-check inside boxes to see whether they have a winning ticket. Each ticket will contain information about the prize, including details on how to claim it.
