To celebrate 50 years of Friars Pride and raise money for Cancer Research, representatives from the wholesaler are taking on the challenge of walking 50km this weekend.

The team will follow the famous Norfolk Coast Path from Cley-next-the-Sea to Hunstanton on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June, the weekend following National Fish & Chip Day. The route will lead them through salt marshes, beaches, pine woods, farmland, and small coastal towns, including places home to some well-known fish and chip shop customers.

This challenge is not just about marking an important milestone for Friars Pride; it is about coming together to support everyone whose lives have been affected by cancer and helping to fund vital research.

Representing Friars Pride on the walk are directors Rebecca Lord and Major Singh; operation managers and Bristol depot Piers O’Neill  and Matt Perris; James Colwill, Poole depot; Lee Roberts, Plymouth depot; Tomasz  Leszczynski, Peterborough depot; Mick Hayes, Nottingham depot; Ricky Buck, Basildon depot; and Paul Bradley, Norwich depot

Friars Pride would love for everyone  to get behind the team and show their support for this worthwhile cause. To support the challenge and help raise funds for Cancer Research UK, please donate via the team’s JustGiving page.
