Two big names in British range manufacturing are coming together after Hopkins owner RGM Leeds confirmed its acquisition of Henry Nuttall, calling the move “a positive step forward in the continued growth of our manufacturing group within the frying and catering equipment sector”.

As part of this structure, Hopkins and Henry Nuttall will operate as distinct brands under the RGM Leeds umbrella.

The directors at RGM Leeds see this as a natural alignment between two businesses that share a passion for quality manufacturing, reliability and customer-first engineering.

Henry Nuttall, based in Sheffield, has been producing frying ranges for the fish and chip shop sector since 1865. For existing Henry Nuttall customers, RGM Leeds assures products, services and relationships will remain unchanged. However, the support and investment RGM Leeds brings will strengthen long-term capability, resilience and opportunity, ensuring Henry Nuttall is well positioned within an evolving market.

By bringing together two respected brands under one group, RGM Leeds is reinforcing its commitment to British manufacturing and continued investment in frying and catering equipment innovation. Ferhat Akkaya, director at RGM Leeds, comments: “Henry Nuttall is a business with a strong heritage, loyal customer base and values that closely align with our own. This acquisition is about protecting that legacy while ensuring long-term stability and continued investment in British manufacturing.

“Henry Nuttall will continue to operate independently, with the same people, standards and commitment to customers that have always defined the brand. We see this as a natural fit and an exciting step forward for the future.”
