Peterhead-based Amity Fish Company has received the Team of the Year accolade at the 2024 North East Food and Drink Awards.
The Scottish seafood supplier was shortlisted alongside some of the North East’s best-known brands at the awards, which aim to bring the industry together to celebrate the achievements and successes of food and drink businesses across the region.
The Amity Team also received a Highly Commended mention in the Best New Product category for its Amity Fish Pie – a smoked haddock pie produced at The Hame Bakery in Peterhead using Amity’s own seafood.
Reflecting on the company’s success, MD of Amity Fish Company, Jimmy Buchan, expressed gratitude for the team’s hard work and dedication, stating: ”I am thrilled our team has been recognised at these prestigious awards. This achievement is a testament to the passion, creativity, and collaborative spirit of our entire team. We are immensely proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to continuing our journey of delivering excellence in the world of seafood.”
