With the HOP air fryer from Venix operators can cook fried food without the need for additional ventilation or having to handle oil, making it suitable for a wide range of operations, including front-of-house use.
Supplied by FEM, HOP incorporates a three stage filtration system with catalytic and carbon filters to prevent odours and condensation from being released into the surrounding environment.
The unit uses a rotating basket to promote even cooking, with programmable rotation phases to control cooking results and achieve a crispy finish. It can cook up to 2.2kg of chips in under ten minutes.
As well as being an air fryer, the HOP can also be used as a convection oven. What’s more, it is compact in size (W732mm x D871mm x H593mm) to fit on standard worktops and can be stacked to increase capacity in space-limited kitchens.
Operation is via push buttons and an LED display, with up to 99 programmable recipes, each allowing up to four cooking cycles. Units can be updated via USB or Wi-Fi using a smartphone, tablet or computer. A built-in self-cleaning function enables automatic washing through a single keypad command, reducing staff workload.
