JJ Foodservice has acquired a new 28,000 sq. ft. site in Ipswich, due to open later this year, and confirmed its 33,000 sq. ft. Nottingham branch will launch this summer.
The openings form part of the group’s rapid national expansion to better support restaurants, caterers and households across the UK.
The Ipswich site will extend JJ’s reach across Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Colchester and surrounding areas. providing access a wider choice of products, strong everyday pricing and reliable local service.
Chief operating Officer Kaan Hendekli said: “Ipswich has a vibrant and fast‑growing food scene, with an exciting mix of restaurants across the waterfront and town centre. We’re looking forward to supporting that growth with our quality, range and service.”
Over the past year, JJ Foodservice has expanded its product range by 19% in partnership with suppliers, adding new premium beers, wines and spirits, an extended alcohol offer, and specialist Asian, Mediterranean and world food lines for foodservice operators.
JJ is also continuing to grow its popular home range, helping larger families access quality products at wholesale prices.
The Nottingham branch remains on track to open this summer, with the Ipswich branch scheduled to follow towards the end of the year. Highlights
