Middleton Foods has appointed Justin Clarke as business development chef in a move that the company says will reinforce its commitment to innovation, creativity and culinary excellence.
Justin has a wealth of experience including being classically trained in the Royal Air Force – working in all kitchens and cooking in some of the most remote parts of the world, including Mount Kent in the Falkland Islands – and developing grab and go concepts for Waitrose. He has also enjoyed time as development chef at Marks & Spencer and, most recently, as business development chef at Nestle Professional.
In his new role, Justin will be responsible for growing the healthcare sector, working closely with the sales team to enhance the company’s culinary offerings, establishing strategic partnerships and driving business growth.
Commenting on Justin’s appointment, Glen Middleton, director at Middleton Foods, says: Justin brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to Middleton Foods, and we’re thrilled to welcome him into our Middleton Foods family. With his unique culinary flair and keen business acumen, we’re confident Justin will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Middleton Foods as Business Development Chef. Our customers can look forward to exciting new culinary experiences which reflect his innovative approach and dedication to excellence.”
Speaking of his new role, Justin adds: “My specialism is blue sky concepts, recipe development and menu creations, and I can’t wait to elevate the company’s culinary offerings to new heights. We have some exciting new plans for 2024.”
