Rupert’s Ingredients’ range of Fisher batter mixes which meet regional preferences for colour, taste and texture, are now available in 16kg industry-standard bags.
When mixed with water, Fishers Restaurant Batter gives a creamy yellow colour but fries to a more decadent browner batter, crisp and smooth for every plate of fish and chips, with plenty of bite. Fishers Lighter Batter, meanwhile, is a light-textured batter with a yellow paler colour. Frying a consistently crispy finish, it gives longer holding times before serving.
Fishers Gold Batter is made using only the finest ingredients for an excellent taste and crispiness, and a rich golden finish that melts in the mouth every time. The batter reduces oil retention after cooking and is said to perform consistently well every time. Completing the range is Fishers Normal Batter, a golden yellow batter with a rippled/spiked texture. It is a partner mix to Fisher’s Gold and has all the same characteristics but a slightly reduced colour.
