Frozen at sea fish supplier Collins Seafoods is opening a new depot in Plymouth, giving operators in Devon and Cornwall direct access to the company’s full product range and dedicated local support.
Collins Seafoods, owned by Seagold, has built a strong presence across the North East and Yorkshire with depots in Newton Aycliffe and Leeds. This latest move is said to mark another step in its national growth strategy, bringing its award-winning standards of service, consistency and supply to operators across the South West. It comes straight off the back of Collins Seafoods being named Supplier of the Year at The National Fish & Chip Awards 2026.
Heading up the new operation is site manager Leesa Davis, alongside South West sales lead Keith Treloar. Both are familiar and respected names within the regional fish and chip sector, having previously worked extensively across the South West. Their local knowledge and established relationships are expected to provide a strong foundation for Collins Seafoods’ expansion in the area.
Managing director Craig English said: “We’re incredibly proud to have been named Supplier of the Year at the National Fish & Chip Awards — it’s a recognition of the hard work, dedication and standards our team delivers every day. Expanding into the South West with our new Plymouth depot is a natural next step in our growth, allowing us to bring the same award-winning service and support to operators across the region. With Keith and Leesa leading our local presence, we’re excited to build strong, long-term relationships with fish and chip businesses throughout Devon, Cornwall and beyond.”
