Hopkins, a leading manufacturer of frying ranges and equipment, has announced an exclusive partnership with the Fry Awards 2026, unveiling a prize package worth £12,000 – the largest of its kind in the event’s history.
In a first-of-its-kind promotion, every winner of the 50 Best Fish & Chip Takeaways and the 10 Best Fish & Chip Restaurants Awards will receive a premium eight-piece bundle of frying utensils, worth around £200 per set.
The prize includes a skimmer 50 mesh, spider, chip shovel, fish lifter, fish tong, chip scoop, food tong and fish drainer – all constructed from hard-wearing premium stainless steel. They are part of Hopkins’ new utensils range – due to launch next month – which is manufactured to the company’s trusted standards, with its products known for their durability and superior build quality.
The giveaway follows Hopkins’ confirmation as the award’s headline sponsor. Owner Ferhat Akkaya commented: “We are delighted to reward the very best in the fish and chip trade with professional, quality tools that make a real difference behind the range.
