Amity Fish Company won the Business Growth Award at the Herald Digital Transformation Awards held in Glasgow last week.
The Scottish seafood supplier, based in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, was shortlisted alongside finalists Altar Group, Arran Sense of Scotland, NoTosh and Snappy Shopper in the category celebrating businesses that have used technology with significant results through the pandemic and beyond.
On winning the award, Amity managing director Jimmy Buchan said: “We are delighted to receive this award! This is truly one for the whole team – without the support and hard work of them, none of this would have been possible.”
The Digital Transformation awards recognise and reward Scottish businesses across all industries and sectors who are using digital technology in new and innovative ways.
Amity’s digital content creator, Jenna Urquhart, was also shortlisted in the Digital Professional of the Year category that night, losing out to Daniel Rodgers of Qikserve.
Amity’s win builds on its success at the Scottish FSB Awards in March where it was named Digital/E-commerce Business of the Year and UK FSB Final in May when it was crowned UK Small Business of the Year.
Amity Fish Company supplies Scottish seafood direct to homes and businesses across the UK from its base in Peterhead, Europe’s largest white fishing port.
