Premium palm oil brand P100 is ending the year on a high by launching a competition to win an Aries 3 filter machine in a prize package worth over £2,500.
Open to all fish and chip shops across the UK, the competition is part of P100’s campaign to step up its marketing activities as it aims to increase market share and attract new users looking to upgrade to a premium quality yet cost-effective palm oil.
P100 has teamed up with ASAP Filtration to giveaway not just a state-of-the-art Aries 3 mobile filtration machine, but a range of essentials including pads, filter papers, pan scraper, chip scoop and fish scoop.
Stephen Bickmore, commercial manager at P100, comments: “We’re excited to launch this competition because we want to give friers the tools they need to serve top quality fried food. This starts with frying in P100, a premium, 100% certified sustainable palm oil specifically designed to handle the rigours of a fish and chip shop. But it also includes staying on top of oil management and filtering, which helps maintain oil quality, increase its longevity, and produce a consistent product.”
P100 is a leading palm oil brand with a loyal following built up over more than 70 years in the trade. Its high smoke point means it is a heavy-duty, robust oil that friers have come to rely on for its performance, long fry life and the consistent and crispy finish it gives to fried food.
Free from allergens, additives, animal fats and hydrogenated oils, P100 is low in trans fatty acids, making it not just a healthy oil to fry in but ideal for shops catering for coeliacs, vegetarians and vegans. What’s more, P100 is a sustainable option too as it is made from fully segregated RSPO certificated sustainable palm oil. This is indicated by the Sustainable Palm Oil logo appearing on its boxes, which shows it has been produced in accordance with strict environmental and welfare standards.
To be in with a chance of winning an Aries 3 filter machine bundle, friers should head to Fry Magazine’s social media pages where they must ‘like’ and comment “Yes P100” plus their shop name. There will be six separate posts each week starting this week, giving shops six chances to enter. One winner will be chosen at random from all shops that have entered by the time the competition closes and entrants must own, manage or work in an operating fish and chip shop, fish and chip restaurant or mobile van.
