Panasonic UK has launched a new electric rice cooker for operators cooking in large volumes.
The SR-UH36F features a 20-cup/3.6-litre cooking capacity and incorporates wrap-around heaters to hold rice at the correct temperature for up to twelve hours. A steaming vent and dew collector, meanwhile, prevent the sogging of rice, while the non-stick coated inner cooking helps minimising food waste which can occur from lack of experience in cooking rice.
The cooker is suitable for various types of rice from long, medium and short grain to paella and arborio.
