Supermarket giant Morrisons has introduced a ‘Takeaway Chippy for Two’ bag across all its Cafés in a move which it says will “help customers enjoy one of Britain’s most loved meals from the comfort of their home, or on the go“.
Included in the deal – priced at £14 for More Card holders and £21 for those without – is a choice of two mains – fish, scampi or battered sausage – chips, two sides and two Britvic soft drinks. Sides include mushy peas, gravy, Heinz Baked Beans or chip shop style curry sauce.
To order, customers tick their options on an order form available from the Café and drop it off at the till point to pay.
Chris Strong, senior café buying manager at Morrisons, said: “The fish & chips in our Cafés is loved by customers all over the UK. The new Takeaway Chippy for Two is not only a great deal, but it also offers the chance for our customers to enjoy our popular meal on the go or in the comfort of their own home.”
