Mexican food specialist Funnybones has expanded its appetiser range with the launch of two new taquito flavours.
Translating into “small taco”, Funnybones’ new taquitos use flour tortillas to encase two fillings: medium-spiced Fajita Chicken – diced chicken, bell peppers, and onion, coated in the vibrant zing of fajita spices – and vegetarian-friendly hot Jalapeno Cheese – featuring a blend of creamy, cheese and herbs with punchy green jalapeno. A third option, Spicy Beef, filled with minced beef, peppers, and onions, will soon join the line-up.
Supplied in cases of 48, Funnybones’ taquitos are best deep-fried and can be cooked straight from frozen for quick service. They also hold their quality well in hot-holding, making them ideal for busy kitchens. Serve the flavours individually or mix and match on a sharing platter to create a fun “taquito roulette” of hot, medium, and mild tastes.
