Adding rotisserie chicken to the menu has never been easier with the new self-cleaning Doregrill Steambox rotisserie oven from Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM).
The Steambox uses a combination of fan-assisted hot air to ensure a tender product and direct infra-red heat for colour and crispy skin. Its bespoke automatic steam-cleaning system takes only 15 minutes to complete, a bonus for busy sites. Designed for optimum viewing and accessibility there are front and back windows, which both open, and quartz lighting.
With a capacity of 12 to 16 chickens, the Steambox rotisserie features a touchscreen glass control panel, digital thermostat and temperature hold mode. Once the product is ready the automatic shut-off prevents overcooking and wastage.
The interior is fitted with four stainless steel baskets and an integrated rapid-drain fat tray. An optional heated storage cabinet is also available to purchase separately.
