The doors to the industry’s leading exhibition for the fish and chip and fast food sector open in just over two weeks, but have you registered yet?
By pre-registering for the T.Quality Fish Frying & Fast Food Show on Sunday 9th June at Sandown Park Racecourse in Surrey you’ll save time on the door and be among the first to access the 70-plus exhibitors showcasing the latest food, drink, equipment and technology on the market. Show regulars such as Middleton Foods, Pukka Pies, Kerry Foods, and BD Signs & BDigital will join a host of first-time exhibitors including Asco Foods, McMillans and Euro Catering all under one roof.
Refresh menus
For operators looking to refresh their menus, the options are endless with exhibitors including Southern Fried Chicken, Larry’s Fishcakes, McWhinney’s Sausages, Amanda 555 and Wrights Pies showcasing the latest products shaking up the sector. If pizza is piquing an interest, stopping by Molini Lario’s stand is a must. It has been making pizza flour for over a century and will be advising on everything an operator needs to know before they start selling pizzas while also cooking up samples to try.
For when all that walking has worked up a thirst, visitors can stop for some hydration at one of the many drink stands. Navson, with its Avant Mineral Water packaged in 100% recycled plastic bottle, will be joined by the likes of Coca-Cola, Britvic, AG Barr and ASCO Foods. The latter will be showcasing the latest drinks craze Mogu Mogu, a new beverage that features chewable jelly pieces. Available in two flavours – lychee and mango – it is said to be the fastest-growing soft drink brand in 2023 with 41.6 million bottles sold last year.
Sunny Chadha from ASCO Foods, Mogu Mogu’s UK&I exclusive distributor, comments: “Our growth in the first quarter of 2024 has been phenomenal, and we believe this expansion will only increase our reach and appeal among consumers. We look forward to providing even more people with the opportunity to try this delicious and unique drink.”
Equipment & technology
Visitors can source and compare the latest equipment and technology, such as frying ranges, oil filtering machines and EPOS systems. This includes the Chefs Range of pressure fryers from Euro Catering Equipment, which the company says are priced for great value, and built with incredible quality. Its development chef will be show-cooking on the pressure fryers so visitors can see the results these fryers produce for themselves. What’s more, an exclusive 30% discount is available on all equipment orders placed on the day. There is also a ‘last chance to buy’ offer on its American range gas chargrills, perfect for fast food outlets.
The show also offers solutions for operating more sustainably. For example, Oleo Waste Oil will be on hand to discuss its used cooking oil collecting and recycling service while ASK Packaging will be showcasing its biodegradable product range. For a sustainable alternative to plastic drinks lids, check out the new Lift & Lock’ lid made from sugarcane plant fibre from Go-Pak.
A wealth of networking opportunities are also available, allowing visitors to connect with industry experts, share insights and gain a deeper understanding of the fish and chips industry. For example, The NFFF has a stand for visitors wanting to find out about its services including its Quality Award, while Touchstone will be tackling confusing energy bills and advising on how visitors can make savings.
Win big!
As well as a host of show-day-only deals and offers, visitors can save even more money if they are a winner of one of the many competitions taking place during the show. For example, there are 25 boxes of Frypure Plus 20 palm oil up for grabs courtesy of T.Quality, while P100 is giving away a new Merlin Maestro filter machine from Premier1 Filtration worth £2,800. This will be the first model off the production line and will come with a certificate of authentication plus a bundle of accessories.
Kerry Foods is offering 60 x 16kg bags of Goldensheaf, Henry Jones or A1 batter mix to one lucky winner while PanaEpos has an EPOS solution or kitchen video screen available in its prize draw.
Mike Crees, managing director at T.Quality, comments: “The Fish Frying & Fast Food Show is shaping up to be the best and biggest exhibition we have ever hosted with innovation, savings and prizes around every corner. Make sure you are there!”
