How long have you worked at Flitch & Chips?
I have been working at Flitch & Chips for over two and a half years. I got the job because I’m friends with one of the ex-employees who first mentioned my name to my boss.
What are your responsibilities?
Stocktaking, serving customers and ensuring customer satisfaction. I also manage the food coming out of the fryers.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
Definitely the people, both fellow workers and the customers. It creates a great environment to work in.
What’s your least favourite part of the job?
When it’s busy and there’s hardly any time to think.
What do you like about working at Flitch & Chips?
The food without a doubt!
How do you feel to be nominated as an Unsung Hero?
I feel honoured because I have been working at Flitch & Chips for a decent chunk of my life and I have loads of great memories and experiences working with my mates.
I am a regular at the outlet and this young man has served me many times. Always polite, works hard and is a great team player
