Kismet Kebabs, a leading producer of premium kebab products, has successfully achieved a Grade A rating in its very first Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards (BRCGS) audit.
The BRCGS certification is a globally recognised standard that sets the benchmark for quality, safety and operational criteria in the food industry.
Achieving Grade A on its inaugural audit reflects its robust safety measures, rigorous operational standards and commitment to quality and safety standards, says Kismet Kebabs.
The Essex-based business, which produces over 100 tons of kebabs a week, underwent a series of audits to ensure the supply chain complied with BRCGS’s strict standards. This involved identifying areas of improvement as well as carrying out staff training, enhancing the team’s understanding of food principles and best practices.
As well as tightening its internal processes and reinforcing Kismet Kebabs’ commitment to excellence across all stages of production, the certification also paves the way for future business opportunities with larger food chains and retailers. For customers, meanwhile, it ensures that they are serving safe, high quality kebabs, providing them with added confidence in the product they offer.
Gulseren Enver, marketing manager of Kismet Kebabs, adds: “Achieving a Grade A certification on our first audit is a testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone involved. It further motivates us to continue striving for excellence and ensuring that our customers can trust in the quality and safety of Kismet Kebabs products.
“Being BRCGS certified means that our kebabs have been checked and meet high standards of food safety, hygiene and quality. This helps protect your customers and your business by ensuring you’re serving safe and high quality food.”
