Police have discovered a cannabis farm in a former fish and chip shop in Worcestershire.
Officers from South Worcestershire Neighbourhood Crime Fighting Team (NCFT) gained entry to Droitwich Spa Fish Bar chip shop last week where they discovered 50 cannabis plants.
Nobody was located inside although evidence was found that someone had been residing in the property.
A spokesperson for South Worcestershire NCFT said: “Following police intelligence and information provided by members of the Droitwich community, we have acted on this, and 50 Cannabis plants have been found.”
