Florigo appoints area sales manager for the South East

Range manufacturer Florigo is pleased to announce the appointment of Sav Martignetti to the role of area sales manager for the South East.

Sav will be responsible for growing the Florigo business and will cover an area that spans Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire right down to Portsmouth and Poole.

Sav joins Florigo from Friars Pride where he spent almost 30 years, working his way up from warehouse operator. His most recent role of sales manager, which he has held since 2005, saw him work closely with the fish and chip shop sector, providing solutions across their businesses.

Commenting on the new appointment, Florigo MD Robert Furey, says: “Sav brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the fish and chip shop trade and he will utilise that to provide shops with innovative frying solutions while helping to grow our presence across the South East.”

Sav adds: “I’m extremely pleased to be taking on this new role in an industry that I have loved working in for the last 30 years. Florigo is the best manufacturer on the market of Dutch high efficiency ranges and is already very well known and respected in the trade, so I look forward to getting the brand out there further and being an ambassador for Florigo.”

Having visited hundreds of fish and chip shops in his previous role, Sav has built up a strong understanding of the industry and customers’ needs, which he says puts him in good stead for his new position. He adds: “A frying range is a large item that a fish and chip must invest in, yet each customer's needs are individual. I want to make sure that they are given the right range for them but also a range that will meet the demands of that business as it grows.”
