Harry Ramsden's celebrates 90 years of fish and chips

Today marks 90
years since Harry Ramsden himself sold his first portion of fish and chips from a little hut in Guiseley, Leeds.

The Harry Ramsden brand has come a long way since then with over 35 outlets across the UK, still selling the fish and chips which has made Harry’s the name most closely associated with the nation’s favourite dish.

Tom Crowley, CEO of Harry Ramsden, comments: “This is a very special day for everyone involved with Harry Ramsden’s and we look forward to celebrating with our customers and teams.  To be in a position to mark such a landmark anniversary underlines the loyalty towards the Harry Ramsden’s brand and we enter the next phase of our brand’s ongoing evolution with great confidence.”

The restaurant chain is marking the day with 90th birthday parties in a number of its outlets with families being offered the opportunity for kids to eat for free.
