Win a website in JJ Foodservice’s Black Fryday special

JJ Foodservice is running a Black Fryday special by offering three lucky FRY readers the chance to have their own website designed and created, totally free of charge.

Winners will get their own unique domain name, social media support and help to be found on Google.

According to JJ Foodservice, fish and chip shops are doing well with their own independent websites particularly as it helps their business to be found when diners are searching online for local, convenient food. Recent readers to join the platform include Top 50 UK chippy Hird’s Family Fisheries, The Meriden and Lomond Fish Bar.

The Black Fryday special coincides with the launch of FOODit’s new website design for takeaways.

Featuring a cleaner look and an easier to use layout, ‘Customer Favourites’ are clearly highlighted in order to whet appetites while special offers and opening times are kept on the first page to avoid re-directing hungry diners away from placing an order.

Head of operations at FOODit, Richard Bradshaw, says: “Consumers buy with their eyes so we have created a more image-led design to encourage diners to place an order, while the new ‘Favourites’ feature tempts them to try new things they haven’t considered before.”

FOODit has also introduced a 50p ‘service fee’ feature which is kept by the business owner, unlike many other website companies who retain the fee.

To be in with a chance of winning a free website, simply e-mail Elit.rowland@jjfoodservice.com with your shop name, address and telephone number by Monday 31st December 2018. Three shops will be picked at random from all entries received.
