KFE Fish & Chip Race Day is a runaway success

Following the success of the first KFE Fish & Chip Race Day in 2016, the Peterborough-based range manufacturer hosted the event once again at Nottingham Racecourse on Wednesday 3rd October.

Attended by over 80 customers and suppliers, there was a great mix of experienced race-goers and first-timers.

KFE is passionate about bringing the industry together and the race day provided the opportunity for likeminded people to mix, network and enjoy some fantastic entertainment at the same time.

Patsy from Ab Fab was on great form as she not only welcomed guests but also presented a  number of awards, choosing Sid Papadamou of Papa’s Fish and Chips in Hull to be the ‘Best Dressed Male’ and Claire Phillips of CF Capital as having the ‘Hat of the Day’ before the day's eight races commenced.

Each race was sponsored by the fish and chip industry and KFE would like to thank its sponsors Middletons, CF Capital. George’s Great British Kitchen, Drywite, Friars Pride and Elite Shopfitters.

KFE MD Paul Williams said: “It was another fantastic success with wonderful company. I would like to thank our sponsors without whose support such an amazing event would not be possible.”
