McDonald’s launches two limited edition Big Macs

To celebrate 50 years of the Big Mac, McDonald’s is introducing two new sizes of its famous burger - a junior version and a super size Grand Mac.

While the traditional Big Mac is being renamed the Birthday Burger, it will be accompanied by two limited edition burgers available until March 20th.

The Grand Mac is a supersize version of the Big Mac with a bigger sesame bun and meat patty, two slices of cheese and secret recipe sauce. It contains 741 calories and 37g of fat.

This is accompanied by a smaller version, known as Mac Jnr, which contains one beef patty, a slice of cheese and sauce. It contains 400 calories and 20g of fat.

The Big Mac first appeared in the USA in 1968 and is sold in nearly 100 countries.
