Sunny’s Plaice pairs up with Johnson Reed

With over 19 years’ experience of running fish and chip shops in and around Lincolnshire, Narinder and Sunny Singh have now settled down to trade from two fixed locations - Sunny’s Plaice in Sleaford and a brand new site in Heckington - as well as a fully branded mobile catering van.

Before opening Sunny’s Plaice in Heckington the pair called in Barland Shopfitters, which had worked on their previous shops, to completely transform the dated takeaway inline with their current designs, colour schemes and branding.

To organise the necessary equipment lease facilities for the purchase of their new Martyn Edwards four-pan Omega island range, the duo returned to another company they had used before, Johnson Reed. With regular, fixed repayments over the lease term, Narinder and Sunny are able to spread the cost of their range, keeping capital expenditure intact and allowing them to generate a more immediate return on their investment.

Narinder comments: “We are immensely proud to have built up a successful brand and to have such a loyal customer base.

“We like working with Mark Johnson of Johnson Reed and he always ensures our equipment finance needs are met with his professional and realistic approach, hence our repeat custom. We are also always keen to work with Stan Price at Martyn Edwards. Our range is custom built to suit our shops needs and the design, output and efficiency of the pans in excellent.
