The National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF) has welcomed a new president to its helm, Andrew Crook of Skippers Fish Bar in Euxton, Lancashire.
Andrew initially joined the NFFF Board of Directors in 2010 and has previously served as treasurer and most recently vice president of the NFFF.
Commenting on his appointment, Andrew said: “I am honoured to have been elected as NFFF national president. We have a great team at the NFFF, with a very proactive board and fantastic people in head office. I am looking forward to working with them and representing the fish and chip industry for the next twelve months.”
Andrew thanked outgoing president Gregg Howard for driving the NFFF and the industry forward.
Following the announcement, Craig Maw owner of Kingfisher Fish and Chips in Plympton, Plymouth has been appointed vice president and Alan Hanna owner of Pitstop Fast Food in Kilkeel, County Down, has been appointed as national treasurer.
