Colouring competition gets kids thinking of fish



Krispies in Exmouth, Devon, is encouraging its younger customers to put fish first by introducing a colouring competition.


The takeaway is inviting children to draw and colour in a fish with the winning design appearing on its printed menu, the kids menu board, the website and social media sites for a year. The winner’s family will also receive a fish and chip meal for four while five runners-up with receive a Krispies kids meal box of their choosing.

The Kids Colouring Competition is part of Krispies Putting Fish First Campaign and is designed to make kids think about fish. It is supported by the shop’s website, which includes pictures of fish and additional information to help children learn about their specific traits.

Kelly Barnes, co-owner of Krispies, says: “We wanted to do something that would inspire kids to think about fish and use their imagination to come up with something unique. We also think that drawing their fish might serve as a welcome distraction during the long summer holiday.”
