Cornware packaging is colourful and eco-friendly

In a break from the traditional “earthy” colours normally associated with disposable foodware, Brakes has introduced a range of lunchboxes, burger boxes and cutlery in a selection of eye catching colours.

Ranging from midnight black to citron yellow, the Cornware products are not only stylish but eco-friendly too since they are made from Origo, a bioplastic created from non-GM corn and yam starch, blended with polypropylene.

With the look and feel of conventional plastic, Cornware products are 100% biodegradable and can go from the freezer to the microwave, withstanding temperatures from -20°C to 120 °C. Strong and durable, they are oil and water proof, as well as being both acid and alkali resistant.
