Churchill’s Fish & Chips has opened its ninth takeaway with its latest chippy in Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire.
Open just before Christmas, it is the chain’s sixth new site for 2016 and includes a small dining area, gluten free Mondays and Tuesdays and the facility for customers to click & collect via an online app.
It is soon to be followed by a tenth store in Bracknell in February, cementing Churchill’s position as the fasting growing chain in the country. Indeed, Churchill’s was cited as ‘One to Watch in 2017’ by Horizon and listed as the fourth fastest growing brand in F&B nationwide.
Managing director James Lipscombe, comments: "We are incredibly excited to have opened the 6th Churchill's store of 2016 in such a strong, bustling trading location. Once again, our site acquisition team have found an excellent location and next year is looking to be even better.”
The company has great ambitions for the Churchill’s brand, which opened its first outlet in October 2013, with James viewing it as a vehicle to drive change in the sector, adding: “We really wanted to challenge the status quo in the industry by changing people’s perceptions of what a typical fish and chip shop experience is, ensuring that any of our stores can rival the market leading fast casual dining brands. We have invested heavily in consumer facing technology, the quality of the fit out and the training and development of our teams so that we can offer our customers a spectacular product and experience.”
Churchill’s plans to open a further six stores in the next six months with more to follow later in the year.
Hazlemere represents the 37th store of the Chesterford Group, which also includes the fishnchickn chain and Bankers.
