The skin-on jacket potato wedges feature a generous sprinkling of piri piri seasoning for a tasty kick, ideal for the 56% of people it says wants to see more spicy options on menus when eating out-of-home. With a further 63% saying they would choose potato wedges as their preferred spicy side and almost half (48%) favouring a piri piri spiced dish, Aviko’s new addition helps operators meet consumers’ growing interest for menu additions with heat.
Ready from frozen in as little as three minutes, Aviko’s Piri Piri Wedges make a great a takeaway option, side to a main course or part of a sharing platter, giving friers scope to add a spicy kick to the entire menu.
