With research highlighting the upcoming trend for ‘mature’ ice cream tastes, Amore di Gelato has developed a new Rum and Raisin flavour.
The latest addition to the luxury range uses the finest Belgium cream to create its signature white and dark rum swirl. Following feedback which revealed many consumers do not like the texture of raisins when whole, the ice cream features a raisin syrup instead, which is said to enhance the eating experience and complement the use of both white and dark Jamaican rum in the recipe.
The new product complements the existing range which includes traditional Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla as well as the sophisticated and versatile Amaretti Amaretto and Grape.
Amore di Gelato Rum and Raisin comes packed in 2.4 litre tubs, which serves around 25 portions.
