Southern Fried Chicken is spicing up its Piri Piri sauce range with the introduction of a Mango and Lime variant.
The sauce contrasts the sweet fruity flavour of fresh mangoes with the zesty sharpness of crisp lime juice, while the addition of chilli gives heat as well as an authentic piri piri flavour.
Available in a 2.5 litre jerry can, it makes the ideal finishing sauce for a range of dishes including chips, salads, kebabs, fish and chicken, or for a deeper flavour it can be used as a marinade before cooking.
The Mango and Lime flavour complements the four current sauces in the range – Lemon & Herb, Mild Piri Piri, Hot Piri Piri and X-tra Hot Piri Piri – giving friers the opportunity to vary their menus and customers a reason to keep coming back time and time again.
