The Original Egg Company has put a new twist on a fish and chip shop favourite by pickling eggs in rice vinegar for a much sweeter, milder taste.
Traditionally used to make sushi, the rice vinegar gives a more subtle flavour and has the added benefit of being gluten free.
Available in 710g (RRP £4.75) to 2.25kg jars, the British Free Range pickled eggs are also available in traditional vinegar but as all the eggs are pickled by hand and produced in small batches, bespoke ranges and flavours can be created too.
