Booker serves up second help manual



Food and drink wholesaler Booker has launched the second edition of All About Food to help friers vary their menu and increase profits.


The book, which is available in branch, includes costings and recommended selling prices for hundreds of dishes as well as quick and easy menu planners. It even recommends which drink to pair with dishes and offers suggestions for event PoS and meal deal marketing ideas. 

All About Food is split into sections covering a wide variety of cuisines, meal occasions and skill levels. This includes breakfast and kids meals through to Mexican and fish dishes with dishes cooked from scratch as well as heat and serve items.

Wine lists and wine recommendations are also included, with suggested beers, ciders and soft drinks to complement the featured dishes. There is also a guide to making the most of hot beverages.

Commenting on the second book in the series, Stuart Hyslop, sales director – catering, says: “All About Food is specially created to help our catering customers make more profits from their food offer.
