Bury chippy for sale

Blacks Business Brokers has a Greater Manchester fish and chip shop and café up for sale for £35,000 plus a weekly rent of £100.

Ashworth's is located in a busy commercial district on the edge of Bury town centre and has been operated by its current owner, Christine Ashworth, since 1994.

The takeaway with seating for 16 includes a Henry Nuttall two-pan range and a well-equipped kitchen, including a commercial fridge, industrial toaster, three microwave ovens and a six-hob range.

It is currently run by Mrs Ashworth with one member of staff and is open from 8am to 1.15pm Mondays to Fridays and from 8am to 11am on Saturdays.

The business makes a gross profit of £34,000 on an annual turnover of £57,000.

Lewis Wroe, business operations manager at Blacks Business Brokers, said: ”This is a really nice business with great potential to build on the current owner's achievements and, for example, expand the opening hours or introduce delivery services. It is in a great location for a business like this – a busy commercial district close to a dense residential area.”

All enquiries should be directed to Blacks Business Brokers on 0161 763 5000, quoting reference 6157.
