TripAdvisor & Deliveroo team up



Consumers browsing fish and chip shops on TripAdvisor now have the option to order a takeaway and have it delivered at the click of a button following an agreement with on-demand food delivery service Deliveroo.

 
By simply clicking the "Order Online" button now displaying on shops’ TripAdvisor pages, customers are taken directly to Deliveroo's online or mobile platform to quickly and easily place an order.
 
The service isn’t just available in the UK but 11 additional countries including Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Hong Kong and Australia.

Bertrand Jelensperger, senior vice president, TripAdvisor Restaurants, comments: “Through this partnership with Deliveroo, we aim to give our restaurant listings a new way to engage with the TripAdvisor community – both at home and on-the-go.

“TripAdvisor is already a highly effective marketing platform for restaurants, and new services like food delivery create incremental value for both businesses as well as consumers.

“Whether reading reviews, reserving a table through TheFork or placing a food order through Deliveroo, our goal is for TripAdvisor to serve as a one-stop-shop for diners around the world.”

Deliveroo works with over 20,000 restaurants while TripAdvisor features over 7 million accommodations, airlines, attractions and restaurants, and has 390 million average unique monthly visitors.
