New flavoured spring water is big on taste and low on calories

AG Barr
claims it is reinventing water with its new Rubicon Spring range - sparkling spring water with fruit juice and just 15 calories or less per bottle.

Available in 500ml PET bottles in four flavours – Strawberry Kiwi, Lemon Lime, Orange Mango and Black Cherry Raspberry – the drinks have no added sugar, contains vitamins and green tea extract and is made with natural flavours and colours.

Launched following extensive research into changing attitudes towards health, the drinks are described as being big on taste and therefore appeal to both consumers wanting a healthier alternative to a fizzy drink or fruit drink as well as those who find the taste of water or flavoured water bland.

Rubicon Spring has performed exceptionally well in trails with 74% of consumers  who tried it saying they would buy it.

The launch is backed by a £2 million marketing campaign and a range of eye-catching in-store POS.
