Rice, spice and a bigger portion on Ramsden’s 90th birthday menu



Harry Ramsden’s is celebrating its 90th birthday with a new menu that includes its largest ever portion of fish and chips, rice boxes and spicier light bites.

Specifically designed with a new generation of customer in mind, the new “Bursting with flavour” menu is available now and includes Ramsden's new Fish Legend - a 300g fillet of cod or haddock served with 570g of chips for £13.99.

Sitting alongside its classic fish and chips are Sri Lankan fish curry, peri peri, spicy jerk, cajun fish bites, and seabass fillets served with sweet pesto - all served with spicy rice.

Described as being its most inspired and flavourful menus to date, Sam Wignell, Harry Ramsden’s brand director comments: “We have literally spiced up our menu and can now offer fish dishes in a newer and more innovative way because we understand there can be a marked difference in taste between the generations. Our traditional offerings remain exceptionally popular with longer standing fans of the brand, however with a new generation of customer in mind, we have added a range of options including the spicier Lighter Bite section in full service and assisted service outlets, and Rice Boxes within our QSRs, to offer customers new ways to enjoy our sustainably sourced fish.”

The dessert offering has also been overhauled with a range of seaside inspired choices including doughnut sandwiches, Eton mess, mango knickerbocker glory and the super sundae sharing plate filled with vanilla, strawberry, chocolate ice creams topped with Oreos, toffee, sprinkles and chocolate.
