Florigo appoints Simon Preston to sales manager

Dutch range manufacturer Florigo has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Simon Preston to the role of sales manager.

Simon brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the fish and chip trade as well as an expert understanding of range technology having been sales director at Cardiff-based range manufacturer Preston & Thomas for 30 years.

His role will involve raising awareness of the Florigo brand as well as promoting the qualities and capabilities of its high efficiency ranges.

Commenting on his new position, Simon says: “I’m very excited about this new opportunity with Florigo and to be back in the fish and chip trade again. The trade is very much in my blood as fish frying has been in my family for over 100 years.

“Florigo is a forward-thinking company that offers something different, something revolutionary to the trade. Its ranges are designed in such a way that they do all the work, giving the operator more focus on the customers coming in to their shop. This means friers can concentrate on running their business rather than stressing about frying.”

Commenting on the new appointment, Florigo MD Robert Furey, says: “We’re delighted to welcome Simon to the team and to bring his knowledge and expertise to our business. In his 30 years in the industry he has got to know many people and he’s familiar with the needs and wants of a fish and chip shop owner.

“We are also delighted to be in a position to expand our sales team, which follows an increased demand for our ranges as more and more friers see the benefits that a Florigo can bring to their business.”

Simon can be contacted on 07341 126668. Alternatively, contact the Florigo office on 01527 592 000.
