Blakemans backs ‘The Beast’

Newcastle-based sausage manufacturer Blakemans is sponsoring Eddie 'The Beast' Hall as he attempts to realise his goal of becoming the 2017 World’s Strongest Man.

A local lad, Eddie has already been crowned the UK's Strongest Man five times and last year finished third on the world stage.

He currently holds the world record for a dead-lift of 500 kg — that’s just under half a ton or, in Blakemans terms, 110 boxes of Supreme Sausages!

In January, Eddie 'The Beast' Hall retained his UK title of The Strongest Man at the Doncaster Dome, sending him through to the world finals in May this year.

He comments: "I gave it my all and I think I won by a good 10 points. I could have missed an event and still won so I'm pretty happy with that.”

“It is so important to me to keep improving on my weaknesses and my strengths. Thanks to all the people of Stoke-on-Trent who are behind me in my effort to win The World’s Strongest Man title later this year.”
